Surely we have all recently heard the expression that information is gold. In recent years, the term Big Data has gained prominence among us, especially in the business world, as it allows, among other things, to convert the data we obtain from third parties into products or services to offer to potential clients.

The role played by human resource departments in companies has constantly evolved from its origins. Today, in such a complex and volatile environment, the functions they perform can be key to the progress of organizations and become a competitive and differentiating advantage compared to the rest.

The Directorate-General for Labour has published the work calendar for 2026, with nine common public holidays throughout Spain and the possibility for autonomous communities to adjust some dates according to their traditions. Knowing these dates in advance is key to planning payroll, leave and personnel management, avoiding errors and ensuring the smooth running of the company.  

The arrival of the Verifactu system has generated much debate among companies and self-employed professionals. Although initially perceived as a new regulatory requirement for invoicing, it can actually become an opportunity to modernise internal processes and gain control over the business's economic and commercial information.

In the Anoia region, various initiatives prioritize more equitable environmental and social practices and articulate alternatives to the current economic system. We find projects that aim to cover a very wide range of needs, from food, access to housing, energy consumption to the development of educational or cultural projects.

Whether consciously or not, people organize parts of their lives into projects. Using a general definition, a project is a temporary effort made to create a unique result. This broad concept encompasses everything from fulfilling a personal need, like planning a trip or buying a vehicle, to more complex operations such as starting a business.
