In the Anoia region, various initiatives prioritize more equitable environmental and social practices and articulate alternatives to the current economic system. We are talking about initiatives that operate in the field of the so-called Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE). We find projects that aim to cover a very wide range of needs, from food, access to housing, energy consumption to the development of educational or cultural projects.

Recently at Grup Carles, we renewed the Seal Aquí Assessorem l’Economia Social (Here We Advise the Social Economy), which certifies that we have undergone specific training in the social and solidarity economy. This training allows us to achieve fiscal, labor, and legal specialization in the cooperative model and certifies that we know, work with, and are networked with the cooperative movement and public administrations.

In today's digital era, social networks have become an integral part of our daily lives. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other platforms connect us with friends, family, and people from all over the world. However, as we share our lives online, it is essential to consider what we are willing to give up in terms of privacy.

When initiating an economic activity, one of the aspects to consider is the most appropriate legal form for the activity we intend to carry out. If ours is a shared project, and we want the people involved to be able to vote and decide on the decisions taken, based on the principle of one person, one vote, then the most fitting formula is likely to be a cooperative. Cooperativism is the social economy formula with the most weight and tradition in Catalunya. As of December 2021, there were a total of 4,521 cooperatives in Catalunya, employing 45,417 people, with a combined turnover of 4.5 million euros.

Social media have had a strong impact on the world of human resources, leading to a transformation in the processes and methods used by its professionals, who have had to adapt to new ways of working and relating to candidates.

As of January 1st, 2023, all self-employed groups (RETA) will start contributing to a new system based on profits (real income).

A chant that year after year sounded like a claim, this year comes into force.

Neologism refers to a newly incorporated word in a language, used to designate a new object or concept that previously did not exist. Some of these words are circumstantial, while others signify shifts in the social, cultural, and economic paradigms of the world around us. Recalling history, words linked to concepts such as suffrage or capitalism have represented new ways of organizing human activity around society.

The Catalonia Accessibility Code, regulated by Decree 209/2023 of 28 November, implements Law 13/2014 on accessibility and establishes the technical requirements that buildings, public spaces and homes must meet throughout Catalonia.

This regulation does not only affect new construction. It also directly affects renovations, refurbishments and existing buildings, especially in homeowners' associations and residential buildings.
