Project Manager - Project Engineer

Grup Carles collaborates with a company in the industrial sector in Igualada for the incorporation of a person who is responsible for the management of design projects and commissioning of heavy industrial machinery.

What will you do on a day-to-day basis?

• Be part of the technical office team, passionate about engineering and industrial machinery design.
• You will be responsible for the entire project management, from order entry to commissioning at the customer's premises.
• Control and monitoring of the same: negotiation with customers, supervision of designs, management of material purchases, budget and time control, technical documentation, coordination of assembly and commissioning of the machinery...
• Coordinate, manage and supervise the team involved in each project.
• Direct contact with the client. Guidance and advice in all phases of the project.
• Participation in projects for the design and development of new industrial machinery and the improvement of existing products.
• Coordination and dialogue with other departments of the organisation (sales, finance, purchasing, workshop, quality, logistics, etc.).

What are we looking for in you?

• High planning and project management skills.
• Customer orientation and service. We help our customers to design and develop the industrial machinery that best suits their needs.
• Availability to travel regularly (approx. 8 weeks a year).
• Higher engineering or graduates, preferably industrial, specialising in mechanics.
• Experience in industrial machinery project management is essential.
• Fluency in English and a good level of French is highly valued.
• Geographical proximity to Igualada or surrounding area is desirable.
