Chemical engineer (with German)

Grup Carles collaborates with one of the main national business groups in the paper sector for the incorporation of a person who will be responsible, reporting to R&D management, for the technical and commercial development of the paper product line for industrial applications.

If you have a technical background in chemistry and would like to be part of an attractive project in contact with customers on an international scale, this is your opportunity.

What will you do on a day-to-day basis?

• You will be responsible for the design and improvement of products (composition, machine parameters...).
• Participation in process optimisation processes and continuous product improvement.
• Technical assistance to customers in homologation tests, response to quality requirements...
• Complaint management.
• Market monitoring and sample analysis.
• Periodic visits to customers and attendance at sector trade fairs (20-30% of the time).

What are we looking for in you?

• It is essential to have a background in chemical engineering. A master's degree or specialisation in paper engineering is highly valued.
• Previous experience in a similar position is an advantage.
• It is essential to have a high level of English (FCE) and medium level of German (B1).
• Geographical proximity to the job (Igualada or surroundings).
