Discover the innovative solutions of Grup Carles Engineering for the agri-food sector at FIGAN 2025. From 25 to 28 March at the Zaragoza Trade Fair. Hall 6 - Stand B/27.

Grup Carles Engineering and Sustainability, together with the Osona Business Council, organized a luncheon titled "Sustainable Finance". The event featured Raul Antúnez Retamal, Head of Sustainability and Climate Change Consultancy, and Xavier Carles, General Director of Grup Carles.

Grup Carles is committed to a more sustainable and efficient future in the agri-food sector. In this edition of FIGAN 2025, which will take place from 25 to 28 March at the Zaragoza Trade Fair, we will present innovative solutions focused on sustainability and efficiency in animal production.

The commitment of European states to meet the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) highlights the need for many changes in the current way of doing things, both by governments and businesses. However, the need to achieve objectives by 2030 and 2050 requires an action plan that will need the knowledge of many professional groups. I will focus on the field of engineering in all its specialties, undoubtedly one of the most significant contributors to the proper development of these obligations.

We are pleased to announce that Grup Carles' engineering and sustainability consulting division has recently obtained ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 140001:2025 certifications from SGS International Certification Services Ibérica, recognising our firm commitment to quality and environmental management.

In Spain, despite the increasing discussion on innovation in working conditions such as telecommuting, family reconciliation, flexible schedules, or a 4-day work week, these concepts are still challenging to integrate into our routines and, above all, into our corporate culture or mindset.

This week we had the opportunity to welcome a delegation from the Cheongju City Council (South Korea) to our facilities. Their stay in the region is part of an official trip to discover cutting-edge initiatives in sustainability, and they wanted to see first-hand the model we promote at Grup Carles for the treatment of livestock manure.
