Grup Carles is committed to a more sustainable and efficient future in the agri-food sector. In this edition of FIGAN 2025, which will take place from 25 to 28 March at the Zaragoza Trade Fair, we will present innovative solutions focused on sustainability and efficiency in animal production.

In the Anoia region, various initiatives prioritize more equitable environmental and social practices and articulate alternatives to the current economic system. We are talking about initiatives that operate in the field of the so-called Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE). We find projects that aim to cover a very wide range of needs, from food, access to housing, energy consumption to the development of educational or cultural projects.

The Government of Catalonia, through the Department of Climate Action, Food and Rural Agenda, demonstrates a strong commitment to sustainability and environmental monitoring with the approval of the new Integrated Environmental Inspection Programme for the year 2024. 

On 6 November 2024, Royal Decree Law 6/2024 was published in the BOE with effect from 7 November 2024. This regulation introduces several fiscal measures aimed at municipalities affected by the DANA between 28 October and 4 November 2024. In this article, we will detail the most relevant tax measures and analyse how they influence taxpayers, companies and specific sectors.

In July 2019, Decree 153/2019 on the management of soil fertilization and livestock manure was approved. This Decree aims, among other things, to organize and respond to the problem of manure in Catalonia.
