Technology, efficiency and comfort: how we have promoted the new Apinas residence
Engineering
Today, we are proud to announce that the Apinas residence is now fully operational. Below, we detail some of the most notable installations we have carried out in this building:
- A 50 kW photovoltaic installation on the roof of the building.
- A primary air ventilation system using plate heat exchangers, regulated by a CO₂ sensor.
- Air conditioning via two low-temperature heat pumps with partial recovery and interior distribution via duct units.
- A domestic hot water production system with a high-temperature heat pump and scroll compressors to adapt to demand.
- LED and DALI lighting in the corridors, with the aim of maintaining a reduced level of brightness to ensure comfort and night-time use by users.
- Installation of an indoor swimming pool with heated water and humidity control by means of a dehumidifier.
- Building monitoring and control system, which integrates lighting regulation, ventilation, air conditioning and DHW production, as well as the building's photovoltaic production.
This set of facilities, designed with efficiency in mind and integrated into a smart management system, together with the building's high level of thermal insulation, allows us to achieve very high energy performance. This facilitates the control of the most intensive consumption points and the optimisation of available resources, maximising the energy savings generated by the photovoltaic installation.
This project is an example of our commitment as an engineering firm to sustainability, comfort and technological innovation. To find out about other projects we have developed, we invite you to visit the projects section of our website.
